Angel Support Foundation is committed to empowering indigent women who are at the basic level of human survival. One of the organization’s impactful interventions has been the Growing Women (G-Women) project, which is an initiative designed to help women start small scale businesses.
The G-Women project is a vital empowerment scheme that provides an enabling background for the recipients to start their businesses, with full support and monitoring from the Angel Support Foundation team to ensure sustainability. To achieve this, the foundation identifies marginalized communities or settlements and selects women who are ideal candidates for the scheme. The process of selecting women for the project is guided by pre-loan trainings, loan disbursement, and monitoring by the ASF team.
Since the inception of the project in 2017, over 50 women have benefited from the empowerment scheme. The Angel Support Foundation remains committed to providing support to indigent women through innovative and sustainable programs like the G-Women project.
